better...

you know
how much
i love
to hang laundry
outside
on the clothesline!
~~~
i love it!
~~~
i love
how the laundry
blows with the breezes,
the fresh clean fragrance
of sweet summer dried
into the linens,
(my mom wishes
this fragrance could be bottled!)
and the crispness
of all the fabrics
when they are line-dried!
~~~
i was lucky enough
to find
a different type
of vintage clothespin bag
at an antique store
and
brought it home
for a pattern
to sew one of my own.
~~~
the hook
is the key
in putting together
this clothespin bag.
~~~
the clothespin bag
itself
is a large square
of doubled fabric
secured with 4 buttons
at each corner
to the hook.
~~~
this gives
the clothespin bag
4 separate openings
to grab clothespins from.
~~~
it's great!
~~~
i love it!
~~~
my vintage wicker laundry basket
was without handles.
i decided
to make my own handles
with twisted fabric.
~~~ i used the same vintage flowery fabric
for my laundry basket handles
as i used
to sew my clothespin bag.
~~~
cute, huh?
~~~
they're a matching pair now!
~~~
i loved hanging laundry
before...
and now...
~~~
it just got better!
~~~~~
~~~
~
wishing you happy laundry hanging!

p.s. if you would like more detailed instructions
to make the clothespin bag,

and i'll send them to you!
