this is yesterday's sunrise,

full of color...

pinks and blues and yellows

after a stormy day of whites and grays.

and then came more color...

help for haiti

haiti...

the poorest country in the western hemisphere...

abject poverty that we can't begin to imagine.

~~~

and then came the earthquake!

~~~

the devastation...

the loss of life...

all of it...

~~~

so incredibly heartbreaking...

~~~

and yet the people sing!

and yet people are still being found alive!

~~~

what does that say about the people of haiti?

it says everything!

~~~

i am sooo impressed with these people,

the struggle they've been thru

and the struggle that lies ahead of them.

~~~

i want to help them.

i have to help them!

i will help them!

~~~

we all have to help them!

there are lots and lots of ways for all of us to help,

each in our own little way.

~~~

we can start by praying ...

~~~

praying for the people of haiti,

and praying for those

who are giving aide to the people of haiti.

~~~

and then we can give...

~~~

we can give help for haiti...

~~~
